A2: The quantity depends on chassis slot configuration and project requirement. Normally multiple communication processors can be arranged for different external host interfaces.
Q3: Will communication failure of 3009 trigger safety trip?
A3: Communication loss of 3009 only loses data transmission to upper systems. It will not trigger safety trip action of the Tricon safety logic.
