This hardware variant BG227AAAB is equipped with 9-channel analog sensor inputs, 7 groups of CT 1/5A current measurement loops, wide-range DC auxiliary power supply and complete digital I/O expansion. It integrates comprehensive rotating machine protection algorithms including differential protection, overload, unbalanced current, overvoltage/undervoltage, over/under frequency, stall, thermal protection, earth fault and generator motoring protection.

Built-in programmable logic control (PLC function), 4-channel isolated 0–20mA analog output, 25 binary inputs and 18 configurable relay outputs, supporting LON, SPA, Modbus serial communication and optional IEC 61850 via external SPA-ZC 400 adapter . The front LCD display supports local parameter setting, fault recording and real-time data viewing, with 8 configurable alarm LED indicators.
It adopts three-proof conformal coated PCB, meets IEC, CE, cULus and marine classification standards, widely applied in hydropower, thermal power, diesel generator sets, mining large motors, marine power propulsion equipment and industrial medium-voltage pump/fan control rooms. This model has been discontinued for new production and only supplied as maintenance spare parts .
