WOODWARD 8440-2173 Control Unit

The 8440-2173 is a microprocessor-based generator set paralleling and protection controller belonging to Woodward easYgen control platform. It is designed for single or multiple generator sets, realizing automatic start/stop, synchronization, load sharing, frequency and voltage regulation. The controller integrates comprehensive protection functions including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, reverse power, overfrequency and underfrequency protection. Equipped with multiple analog and discrete I/O channels, it can connect various sensors and auxiliary actuators. Support Modbus communication for data interaction with upper SCADA monitoring system. The front panel features LCD display and operation buttons for parameter setting, real-time data viewing and fault record checking. It is widely used for diesel/gas generator control in power stations, data centers, oil & gas sites and industrial self-provided power plants.
