DI620 ABB Installation Steps

## 1. Pre-Installation Preparation

– **Terminal Connections**: Refer to the wiring diagram on the module’s label or manual to identify voltage input terminals (e.g., L1, L2, L3 for three-phase measurements) and grounding points.
– Connect voltage sense wires to the corresponding input terminals, ensuring correct phase alignment.
– Securely fasten the ground wire to the module’s dedicated grounding terminal (marked “PE” or “Earth”) using a ring terminal.

## 4. Post-Installation Checks

## 5. System Integration
– **Power Restoration**: Remove LOTO devices and energize the system. The module’s power LED should illuminate green, indicating proper power supply.
– **Function Test**: Use a calibrated voltage source to apply test signals to the module. Verify output data (via connected control system) matches the input within the specified accuracy range (±0.5% typical).
– **Fault Monitoring**: Check for error indicators (e.g., red LED) and address any issues immediately. Refer to the manual for fault codes if abnormalities are detected.

## 6. Safety Notes
– Do not operate the module in areas exceeding its Ex rating or outside specified environmental limits.
– All maintenance or wiring adjustments must be performed with the system de-energized and in accordance with hazardous area safety procedures.
