AGDR-71C ABB

1. Appearance and Connection Inspection
1.1 Daily Appearance Inspection
Conduct a daily visual inspection of the 5SHY35L4512:
  • Check if the outer casing is damaged or deformed. If cracks are found, it may expose internal components to dust, moisture, etc., so it is necessary to promptly assess whether the casing needs to be replaced.
  • Inspect the surface for obvious stains and corrosion marks: Stains can be gently wiped off with a clean, soft damp cloth; if there is corrosion, analyze the causes (such as whether there are corrosive gases in the environment) and take corresponding protective measures, such as enhancing ventilation and installing air purification equipment.
1.2 Tightening of Connection Parts
Inspect the connecting parts (cables, plugs, sockets, etc.) between the equipment and external devices weekly:
  • Check if the cables are worn or have broken insulation. If the cable insulation is damaged, it may cause safety issues such as short circuits, so it is necessary to promptly repair with insulating tape or replace the cables.
  • Check if the connection between plugs and sockets is loose: For loose connections, power off first, then reinsert and ensure a tight fit. If necessary, use tools like screwdrivers to tighten the fixing screws of the plugs to avoid abnormal signal transmission or unstable equipment operation due to poor contact.
  • For bolted connections (such as the fixing bolts of the module installed on the rack), use a wrench to tighten them according to the specified torque value monthly to prevent bolts from loosening due to equipment vibration, which may affect the normal operation of the equipment.
2. Operating Status Monitoring
2.1 Electrical Parameter Monitoring
Use professional electrical measuring instruments such as multimeters and power analyzers to measure the input and output voltage, current and other parameters of the 5SHY35L4512 weekly:
  • Compare the measured values with the rated parameters marked on the equipment. If the voltage deviation exceeds ±5% and the current deviation exceeds ±10% (refer to the equipment manual for specific deviation ranges), it may indicate internal faults of the equipment or abnormal external power supply. For example, excessively low input voltage may be due to excessive voltage drop in the power supply line, and excessively high output current may be due to short – circuit faults in the load or performance degradation of internal components of the equipment.
  • For equipment operating for a long time, it is advisable to establish a trend chart of electrical parameter changes to predict potential faults of the equipment in advance by observing the changes of parameters over time.
2.2 Temperature Monitoring
Use an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of key parts on the surface of the equipment (such as power modules and chips) daily:
  • The normal operating temperature of the equipment must be within the specified range (such as 40°C – 70°C, depending on the equipment).
  • If the temperature of a certain part exceeds the normal range, it is necessary to check the heat dissipation system of the equipment: Check whether the cooling fan is operating normally (replace it with a fan of the same model in time if it is damaged) and whether the ventilation ports are blocked by dust (clean the dust in the ventilation ports with compressed air or a vacuum cleaner).
2.3 Sound and Vibration Monitoring
Monitor the sound and vibration of the equipment through hearing and touch daily when it is running:
  • The normally operating 5SHY35L4512 should make a stable and slight running sound; if sharp whistles, friction sounds or other abnormal noises are heard, it may indicate that there are problems such as loose or worn internal mechanical parts or arcing of electrical components, which need to be focused on for investigation.
  • Touch the outer casing of the equipment to feel for abnormal vibration. If the vibration is significantly intensified, it is necessary to shut down the equipment for further inspection, such as checking whether the equipment is installed firmly and whether internal parts are loose.
